Finnur Oddsson

Finnur is the CEO of Haga, who took up the position on July 1, 2020. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Iceland, M.A. and a Ph.D in the same subject from West Virginia University in the United States, as well as the AMP in Business Administration from the IESE Business School in Barcelona. From 2013 to 2020, Finnur was CEO of the IT company Origo hf. Finnur worked for many years as an associate professor at the University of Reykjavik and managed, among other things, the development of the MBA study of RU and the Management School of RU. He served on the RU Council from 2009 to 2017 and served as chairman of the council until 2014. Finnur served for five years as Executive Director of the Icelandic Chamber of Commerce.

Magnús Magnússon

Magnús is the Deputy CEO of Hagar, as well as the CSO/COO. Magnús took up the position of CSO/COO on February 1, 2021, and was then appointed Deputy CEO in March 2024. Magnús holds an M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from UC Berkeley, California, and a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland. Magnús has extensive experience in strategy as well as general operations, both in Iceland and abroad. In 2020 he worked as an independent management consultant, after leading Marel's strategy team for a few years. Prior to that, Magnús worked as a management consultant for the global consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he assisted a number of companies with strategy, operational improvements and major transformations. Before joining McKinsey, Magnús worked for the software company AGR Dynamics.

Guðrún Eva Gunnarsdóttir

Guðrún Eva Gunnarsdóttir is the CFO of Hagar. She received an MBA from the University of Iceland and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Reykjavík University. Guðrún Eva was hired in May 2010. She previously held the position of Hagkaup CFO from 2007 and was CFO of Bananar and Ferskar Kjötvörur from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, she worked at Hagar's headquarters from 2005 to 2006 and in the financial department of 10-11 and Hagar Specialty Stores (previously Baugur) from 2001 to 2005.

Eiður Eiðsson

Eiður is the CTO of Hagar but he took up the position in January 2021. Eiður has a business degree and has many years of experience in information technology and digital development, where he has been involved in both basic operations in information technology and digital transformation of companies such as Arion Bank and VÍS.
